i love a good project

I love my kids’ artwork, but having the fridge door cluttered with layers of papers and magnets, and then having things fly to the floor when I close the freezer door? That’s just too much.

I made a casual mention of this problem to a coworker who told me about how she displays her kids’ art. So I immediately stole her idea, of course. After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

With two simple cafe rods with ring and clip curtain hangers, our formerly empty, boring hallway wall has turned into an amazing art gallery. It took all of 10 minutes to complete, which made Husband happy. It cost next to nothing, which made me happy. Plus, I love opening my bedroom door in the morning to be greeted by all of their awesome creations and they love celebrating their creative achievements by pinning them proudly on display.

Feel free to flatter me by stealing this idea for your own home, too – it’s a good one!
